Roberta L. "Bobby" Cherny, age 47, of Lorain, died suddenly on Sunday, October 2, 2005 at her residence.
She was born on December 21, 1957 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma and has lived in Lorain since 1982.
She served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict as a military police woman.
Bobby worked as an assembler at Camaco, Lorain for a number of years.
She enjoyed crafts, yard work, gardening and fishing.
Surviving is her wife: Bonnie Partin, of Lorain, maternal grandmother: Marie Flax, of Oakley, KA, a brother: James Cherny, Jr. of Alviso, CA, sisters: Patricia Malloy, of Stevenson, CA, Tina M. Cherny, of Alviso, CA, and Victoria L. Villarreal, of Port Lavaca, TX, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: James A. Cherny, Sr. and Delores M. (nee Flax) Cherny, brother: Daniel Cherny, 5 nieces and a nephew.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 5, 2005 from 2:00 until time of service at 4:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.
