Frank P. Rojas, Sr. age 74 of Lorain, died on Monday, July 2, 2007 at his residence, while under New Life Hospice, following a lengthy illness.
He was born on December 3, 1932 in Kanapolis, Kansas he moved back and forth from Kansas to Lorain through the years.
He was employed as a maintenance worker at a greenhouse for years.
Frank enjoyed fishing, gardening, working around the house, watching tv, especially the Price Is Right.
He is survived by his sons: Frank Jr., of Lorain, Pastor Rolando Rojas, of Youngstown, Pablo Rojas of Lorain, daughters: Micaela Garcia, Teresa Alicea, Amelia Rojas, all of Lorain, Rosa Beltran, of Dallas, TX, Maria Perez, of Marietta, GA, Nicky Rojas, of Lorain and Summer Rojas of Marrietta, GA, 40 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren, brothers: Jimmy Rojas, of Kanapolis, KS and Ernie Rojas of Salina, KS, sisters: Hope Rojas of Topeka, KS, Julia Rojas, and Josephine Meehan both of Witchita, KS, Louisa Thompson, and Elinore Hernandez both of Salina KS.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, Rev. Daniel Reyes, pastor of Templo Emmanuel Church will officiate. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain is handling the arrangements.
