Ronald E. "Ronnie" Null, 61, of Lorain, died Monday, December 08, 2008 at his residence while under the care of New Life Hospice following a lengthy illness.
He was born April 1, 1947 in Sewickly, Pennsylvania, living in Lorain his entire life.
Ronnie worked as a baker at Giant Eagle in Amherst for 10 years, retiring in 2000. Prior to that, he worked for DeLuca's Bakery and then Avonti's Bakery as a baker. He enjoyed his family and baking.
Surviving are his sons, Aaron (Carolyn), Christopher and Michael all of Lorain; his mother, Cleo Null of Lorain; 4 grandchildren; brothers, Gerald White of Huron, and Dean Case of Lorain; sisters, Deanna Gallagher and Brenda Case both of Lorain.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 22 years, Patricia A. (nee Farsetti) in 1990; his daughter, Shelly Marie Pilger in 1999; his father, Earl Null; and his brother, George Null.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 am. Rev. Ron Woods, pastor of First Baptist Church, Sheffield Lake, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
