Ronald L. Rabold, age 58, of Amherst, died on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at his residence, following a lengthy illness.
He was born on October 23, 1949 in Hinton, West Virginia, resided in this area his entire life.
He was a 1967 graduate of Lorain High School and also attended Bowling Green College.
Ronald was employed as a mill right for US Steel, retiring in 2007 after 37 years.
He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ Restored Gospel, Lorain.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years: Frances, son: Trevor L. (Vicki) Rabold, of Amherst, 2 grandchildren: Faith A. Rabold and Brandon C. Rabold.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Lloyd F. and Thelma (nee Crooke) Rabold and sister: Sharon LaRue.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 19, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-7 p.m. at the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Minister Nephi DeMercurio, pastor of Church of Jesus Christ Restored Gospel will officiate. A private burial in Ridge Hill Memorial Park will be held.
Contributions in his memory may be made to the Missionary Fund at the Church of Jesus Christ, 2655 Broadway Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052.
