Sally Leonhard Madanski (nee Ursic), age 70, of Lorain, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at Anchor Lodge Retirement Village, Lorain, after a lengthy illness.
She was born on August 21, 1943 in Lorain, where she lived her entire life, and was a graduate of Lorain High School. Sally was employed with the US Postal Service, where she retired from after 31 years of employment. She worked as a letter carrier, Postal Clerk, and was a temporary Postmaster. She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church and loved her grandchildren dearly.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, William A. Madanski, daughters; Lori Leonhard, of Lorain and Lisa Campbell, of Cape Coral, Fla., stepson, Daniel Madanski, of Fort Worth, Texas, her 4 grandchildren; Lenny Torres II, Andrew Torres, Ava Madanski, and Sophia Madanski, and her aunt Veronica "Ronnie" Striker, of Lorain.
Sally was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Alan Leonhard, sister, Patricia Pavlich, and her parents; William and Frances (nee Mika) Ursic.
