Sandra D. Salata, 68, of Elyria, died Thursday, May 27, 2010 at EMH Regional Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
Born November 7, 1941 in Lorain, she has moved to Wellington in 1988. Sandra has resided in Elyria for the past several years.
She had worked at Goodwill Industries, Lorain, Sutters Sandwich Shop, Lorain, and she worked as an assembler through Murray Ridge Center in Elyria.
While living in Lorain, Sandra was a member of Holy Trinity Church.
Sandra is survived by her brother, Paul and wife Melanie of Charlotte, NC; and James of San Diego, CA; and a niece and nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul J. and Pauline D. (nee Hutta) Salata; and a brother, Albert.
Burial will be private. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain is handling the arrangements. Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
