Sandra L. Sanchez

Sandra L. Sanchez (nee Spencer), age 76, of Lorain, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023, at her residence following an unexpected illness.

Born July 18, 1947, in Elyria, she was raised in Oberlin before moving to Lorain in 1968.

Sandra enjoyed dancing, reading, playing bingo, feeding stray cats, and playing games on her phone.

Surviving are her sons, George Sanchez, David Baez, and Luis Sanchez; daughters, Annette Collins, Angela Sanchez, Rosa Sanchez, and Diane Schnicke; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Linda Spencer and Mary Comstock; and a special niece who was like a daughter to Sandra, Nuria Solis-Oyola.

Sandra was preceded in death by her son, Domingo Sanchez; daughters, Maria Sanchez and Linda Sanchez; and a sister, Carol Oyola.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.

The family is asking that monetary contributions be made directly to the funeral home to help with the funeral expenses.
