Santina M. Jonas

Santina M. Jonas (nee Azzarello), age 59, of Lorain, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at the Cleveland Clinic, following a short illness.
She was born on October 24, 1955 in Cleveland, moving to Elyria in 1976 then to Lorain in 1983. She was a 1973 graduate of John Marshall High School.
Santina was employed by the School Employee Lorain Credit Union for 20 years.
She loved life and took life to its extreme. She enjoyed roller skating, being with people and she loved her dogs. She also was a musician, playing percussion and sang backup in a classic rock band.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Philip A.; son, Justin of Lorain; and daughter, Santina Acosta of Lorain; brother, Patrick Azzarello of North Olmsted Twp.; and sister, Linda Azzarello of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Grace Azzarello; and brother, Frank Azzarello.
