Sarah Justice (nee Kinder), age 93, of Sheffield Village, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Avon Oaks Caring Community, following a lengthy illness.
Born Feb. 17, 1921 in Pikeville, Kentucky, she moved to Sheffield Village in 1963.
Sarah worked for over 20 years as a technician in Central Supply Department of Lorain Community Hospital, retiring in 1986.
She was a member of Little Edna Old Regular Baptist Church, Sheffield Township. Sarah enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Surviving is her husband of 72 years, Hobart; a son, Hobart Dale (Pam) of Pickerington, Ohio; daughters, Ann (Robert) Ginn of Dandridge, Tenn., Janie (Dave) Sowards of Wittensville, KY, Sharon (Mike) Meinke of Rio Rancho, N. M., and Tonya Justice of Greensboro, N.C.; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; a brother, Herman Kinder of Carrolton, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Myrtie (nee Kendrick) Kinder; and 10 brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 until the time of services at 6:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
