Sharon R. Phillips (nee Burleson), age 69, of Lorain, passed away November 16, 2018 at her residence following a lengthy illness.
Born March 28, 1949 in Lorain, she lived in Lorain her entire life. Sharon attended Admiral King High School in Lorain.
Sharon worked in home health care for the Nord Center, Lorain, retiring in 2013. Prior to this she worked at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home for over 8 years and for Fortman's Adult Foster Care.
She enjoyed working on crossword puzzles and word searches, cooking, collecting teddy bears and watching wresting and soap operas. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving is her husband of 33 years, Bill Phillips Sr.; sons, Charles and Bill Jr. all of Lorain; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; and sisters, Vivian Verda of Oberlin and Lillian Quillen of Big Gap, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Michael and Danny; parents, Howard and Emma (nee Blanche) Burleson; and a brother, Gary Burleson.
Private services for the family were held.
