Sharren M. Tillman

Sharren Miriam Tillman (nee Swingler) age 60, of Elyria, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center.

Born April 9, 1959 in Philadelphia, PA, to the late John and Doris Swingler, she moved to this area in the 1970’s. Sharren worked for many years as a STNA at Avon Oaks Nursing Home.  She enjoyed cooking and helping others.

Surviving are her children, Eric Swingler, Sherrie Swingler and Marquise Swingler; 11 grandchildren; and siblings, Victor Medina, William Medina, Marylin Medina, Irvin Medina, Edwin Medina, Juan St. Clair, Doris Baker and Zulema Parchment.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eric Tillman.

Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 2:00 pm in St. Peter Church of God in Christ, 3301 S. Broadway, Lorain.  The Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, Lorain, is handling the arrangements.
