Shirlly Ann Plato, (nee Matuzek) age 67, of Lorain, died on Sunday, November 7, 2004 at her residence, following a extended illness.
She was born on August 10, 1937 in Lorain, where she has lived her entire life.
Shirlly enjoyed reading novels, crossword puzzles and sewing.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years: James J. Plato, 6 sons: James F. Plato, Al D. Plato, William M. Plato, Benny E. Plato, all of Lorain, Walter A. Plato, of Warensville and Bengy Wahl, of California, 6 daughters: Christine L. Plato, of Lorain, Ailene K. Plato, of Puerto Rico, Lillian F. Agront, of Vermilion, Sylvia L. Plato, of Lorain, Nancy J. Horvath and Toni MJB Horvath, of Amherst, many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, 4 brothers and 1 sister, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Andrew Matuzek in 1961 and Madonna (nee Wyatt) Matuzek in 1975, 4 brothers, 4 sisters and 1 grandson: Alloyaus D. Plato, in 1995.
