Sophie Severa, (nee Justin), age 96, of Lorain, died, Thursday, February 8, 2007, at Avon Oaks Nursing Home, Avon.
She was born on April 21, 1910 in Lorain and has been a lifelong resident.
She was employed as a sales clerk for May Company for 20 years.
She enjoyed sewing and gardening.
She is survived by her nieces.
Sophie was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years: Frank Severa in 1994, parents: Michael and Catherine (nee Stromalek) Justin, her sisters: Julia Kowalczyk and Mary Demko, and her brother: John Justin.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 12, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m., in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. The Rev. William Schill will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp., Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Avon Oaks Nursing Home, 37800 French Creek Road, Avon, Ohio 44011.
