Stanley H. Hill, 67, of Lorain, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Mercy New Life Hospice, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
Born Feb. 5, 1949 in Goose Creek, Texas, he came to Lorain in 1987. He worked at the Steel Mill in Texas then at US Steel in the #4 seamless mill for 30 years. He was a member of the United Steel Workers Union Local 1104.
Stanley was an enjoyed artistic painting, golf and metal detecting.
Surviving is his wife of 26 years, Eileen (nee Salvastion); his children, Sherrie (Jim) Beaman of Dayton, Texas, Stacey (A.J.) Thomas of Beach City, Texas, Stanley (Anne) Hill Jr. of Friendswood, Texas; Jason (Kelly) Giorgini of Cabot, Arkansas and Alicia Clepper of Elyria; 19 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Sheila (Terry) Miller of Baytown, Texas and Sandra (Bobby) Bagley of Iron Mountain, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil H. Hill and LaVoice (nee Reeves) Blakney; and a brother, Calvin D. Hill.
