Steven A. "Steve" Long, 51 of Lorain, passed away Monday, November 18, 2013 at Elyria Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born Feb. 1, 1962 in Lorain, he lived in Sheffield Lake for most of his life. In 1997 he moved back to Lorain where he has lived since.
Steve worked as a machine operator for Thogus Products in Avon Lake. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and football.
Surviving is his wife Wynona (nee Kurtz); his mother, Barbara Long of Sheffield Lake; step son, Charles Kerns of Lorain; step daughters, Angela (Tony) Parker of Lorain and Michelle (Ron) Williams of Sheffield Lake; granddaughters, Chey, Morgan and Kaelah; and a brother, Robert (Deb) Long of Lorain.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Long.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.
