Sylvia Marie Watchorn, 70, of Lorain died on Wednesday, February 06, 2008 at Lake Pointe Health Center.
She was born November 7, 1937 in Shady Grove, PA.
She previously worked for Lorain City Schools and Anchor Lodge Health Center.
She enjoyed being around her family and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.
She is survived by daughters: Joyce Richardson and Nancy Krasienko of Lorain, Debra Wheeler of Cleveland, sons: Michael Wheeler and Richard Wheeler both of the Cleveland area, sister, Betty McLaughlin, brother: Gene Newman both from Grafton, 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Myron Watchorn in 1999, brothers: Fred, Charles, Ralph and Elmer Newman, granddaughter: Erica Wheeler in 1996 and her parents: Charles and Ella Lowery Newman.
The family will receive friends on Monday, Feb. 11, 2008 from 6-9 p.m. at Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where services will be on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Sister Pat of New Life Hospice officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
