Tammy Ann Csillag, age 50, departed her life on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at ResCare in Sheffield Lake.
Tammy was born to the union of David Csillag and Nancy Zapel on March 18, 1973, at Portsmouth Navel Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia. She entered the Catholic Faith with the sacrament of baptism on July 29, 1973. Tammy moved to Ohio at a young age, where she remained.
Her grandparents, Peter A., and Olga Csillag preceded her in death.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her father and step-mother, David and Martha Csillag of Norfolk, Virginia; mother, Nancy Zapel and sister, Michelle Csillag, both of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, sister, Denise Rawls; and nephew, Mason Rawls both of Norfolk, Virginia, step-sisters, Theresa Lambert and Tammy Whitley both of Norfolk, VA and Dawn Miller of Abilene, KS. She is also survived by her aunt and godmother, Cheryl (Ron) Van Wagnen of Lorain, and uncle, Dennis P. Csillag of Chula Vista, CA, and many cousins.
Tammy’s family would like to thank all the wonderful caregivers who had cared for her with heartfelt love for most of her life and the clergy who provided her spiritual support for so many years.
Tammy will be buried at St. Peter Cemetery, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville on Friday, July 28 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Robert Franco will officiate. The Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, is handling the arrangements.
