Terrence M. "Terry" Doyle, age 48, of Lorain, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2009, at the New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain, after a lengthy illness.
He was born on July 6, 1961 in Lorain, Ohio, where he has lived his entire life. He was a 1979 graduate of Admiral King High School. He was employed as an electrician for Northern Electric and various other electrical contractors. Terry was a member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church.
He enjoyed model railroading, going on train rides, the Cleveland Browns, hiking, riding his bike, and enjoying nature.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann (nee Evanish), of Lorain, his father, Robert J. (Cora), of Wakeman, brother, Patrick (Valerie) McGowan-Doyle, of Oberlin, sisters; Peggy (Warren) Johnson, of Lorain, Kerry and Kelly, of Wakeman, 2 aunts; Kathy Martin, of Avon Lake, and Jean Krenek, of Lorain, his nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Joseph and Catherine Evanish, and his paternal grandparents, Charles and Evah Doyle.
The family will receive friends for a memorial Mass on Saturday, July 25th, at 10:00 a.m., at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 1709 E. 31st. Street, Lorain. The Rev. Fr. Paul Krajnik, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be private. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, handled arrangements.
