Theresa Tessie Tupa (nee Lamats) age 90, of Vermilion, died Sunday, November 21, 2004 at Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center West, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
Born January 17, 1914 in New York, NY, she lived in Garfield Heights, OH for 35 years. She then lived in the Elyria and Lorain area before moving to Vermilion 7 years ago.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and flowers.
She is survived by 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Frank J, her son; Richard Tupa in 2003, brother; William Lamats, and her parents; Steve and Irma (nee Fabian) Lamats.
Friends are invited to gather for a graveside service on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain, is handling the arrangements.
