Theresa D. Zajkowski, age 78, of Lorain, died on Thursday, August 17, 2006, at Lake Pointe Health Center, Lorain.
She was born on June 2, 1928 in Lorain, where she remained a life-long resident. She was a graduate of Lorain High School.
Theresa was employed at Lorain Works US Steel as a secretary, until her retirement. She was a member of Nativity BVM Catholic Church in Lorain.
She is survived by her 2 sisters; Mrs. Eugene (Ann) Kendzel and Jeannette Leshinski, both of Lorain, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Stanley and Bernice (nee; Libuda) Zajkowski, her brothers; Harry and Joseph, sisters; Genevieve Cyran, Stella Zajkowski, and Helen Zajkowski.
The family is having a private visitation. There will be a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m., at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 418 West 15th Street, Lorain. The Rev. Fr. Robert Glepko will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, is handling arrangements.
