Thomas U. Urbanic, age 66, of Bath, OH, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2009.
He was born on December 28, 1942 in Lorain, Ohio. He was a 1960 graduate of Lorain High School. He then received his Bachelors Degree from Baldwin Wallace College. He served with the United States Army during the Vietnam War, receiving the National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal. He was the sole proprietor of Falls Tax Service and was a member of the Kiwanis Club, of Cuyahoga Falls.
Tom is survived by his wife Adrienne (nee Goode), son, Matthew, of Dallas, TX, mother, Helen (nee Reber), of Lorain, and 3 brothers; Timothy, of Lorain, Robert and Jerome, both of Denver, CO.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 8, from 5-8 pm, in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, at 9:30 am. A funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 am, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 2428 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. The Rev. Fr. David Novak, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be held at 1:00 pm, in Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH.
