Timothy C. Casper, age 67 of Elyria, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital after a courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer.
Born July 26, 1956, to Alvin and Dorothy (nee Mueller) Casper in Fairview Park, Ohio, Tim lived in Ohio his entire life. He graduated from Midview High School and went on to work in shipping and receiving for Ceilcote in Berea.
Tim enjoyed staying busy, working on cars, playing pool as well as gardening. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends, having cookouts and get togethers.
Surviving is his daughter, Amy (Adam Eisbrenner) Casper; grandson, Aiden Eisbrenner; sisters, Linda Scully and Doreen Surman and a brother, Alvin “Al” Casper; nieces, Cristen, Stephanie, Whitney and Rebecca as well as his nephews, Ryan, Matt, Michael and Rob.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents as well as his brother, Robert Casper.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 16 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 12:00 p.m. at Dovin Funeral & Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Reverend Joseph Scalco of St. Jude Catholic Church will officiate.
