Vanessa M. Webb

Vanessa Michelle Webb, age 17, of Lorain, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at her residence, following a sudden illness. Vanessa gave the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
Born October 4, 1997 in Lorain, she lived in Lorain her entire life. She had attended Toni Morrison Elementary School, Lorain, and Nord Jr. High, Amherst. She was currently attending Marion L. Steele High School, Amherst, as a junior. She was also attending Lorain County Joint Vocational School, where she was studying precision machine technology, ensuing her dreams to be a machinist. While in high school she enjoyed playing soccer and running track.
Vanessa was employed at Panera Bread, Elyria. She enjoyed shopping, swimming, fishing and animals. She also liked to attend demolition derbies and drag racing.
Surviving is her mother Jennifer (Abel) Stewart, of Lorain; her father Dustin (Sarah) Taylor, of Lorain; brothers, Logan Stewart, of Lorain, Cameron Smith of Wellington, Noah Phillips of Wakeman, James Green and Anthony Green, both of Lorain; a sister, Aviana Taylor of Lorain; maternal grandfather, Thomas Webb, of Lorain; paternal grandparents, Charles Taylor of Vermilion Twp, and her "Meme" Linda Cook, of Elyria; paternal great grandmother, Betty Taylor of Lorain; and her aunt Theresa Webb of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Luba Webb Rancher in 2003.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at House of Praise International Church, 4321 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. The family will also receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the church. Rev. Mark Hebebrand, associate pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
