Veronica "B" Christine Lopez-Cox, age 32, of Lorain, died on Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at Life Care Center, Medina, after long complications due to Diabetes and Multiple Sclerosis.
She was born on November 20, 1974 in Lorain, where she has lived her entire life. She was a 1992 graduate of Lorain High School. While in school she was a member of the Mustang Twirling Corp, the Lorain High School Marching Band and Orchestra.
She was employed as a nursing assistant at Ohio Extended Care Center, Lorain.
She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
Veronica loved swimming and amusement parks, spending time with her children and family gatherings.
She is survived by her husband: Christopher Cox, son: Nico Cox, of Lorain, daughter: Marianna Cox, of Lorain, father: Fred Lopez, of Lorain, brothers: Freddy Lopez, of Lorain and Jerome Lopez of Lake Havasu, Arizona, sister: Kathleen Lopez, of Lorain and paternal grandfather: Abelino Lopez Sr. of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Marianne (nee Lamats) Lopez, paternal grandmother: Margarita Lopez and maternal grandparents: William and Wilma Lamats.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at 2:45 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain. Mr. Tony DeGracia, deacon at Sacred Heart Chapel, will officiate. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, is handling the arrangements.
