Victoria "Vicki" McGowan

Vicki Ann McGowan, (nee Siwek) age 57, of Elyria, died on Friday, December 10, 2010 at Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
She was born on December 28, 1952 in Elyria, where she resided her entire life.
Vicki worked as a doctor's assistant for her husband, Dr. Komar K. McGowan in Elyria, for many years.
She enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers and Indians. She also enjoyed watching her nieces and nephews.
Vicki is survived by her special friend, James Wayne Dysart, of Lorain, nephew, Sean Siwek, of Oklahoma City and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Irene (nee Lament) Siwek, brother, Stanley Siwek and husband, Dr. Komar K. McGowan.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 17, 2010 at St. Mary's Cemetery, Elyria at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Fr. Charles Diedrick, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Elyria.
The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain is handling the arrangements.
