Wilhelmine "Mina" Lamats

Wilhelmine "Mina" Lamats, (nee Puchinger), age 71, of Lorain, died on Monday, May 30, 2011 at Avon Oaks Skilled Nursing Center, Avon, following a brief illness.
She was born on October 5, 1939 in Kitzingen, Germany, moving here in 1965. Mina was employed at Lorain Products for almost 20 years, retiring in 2001.
She was a member of the former St. John Roman Catholic Church, now St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society.
She enjoyed making afghans, and in her younger years, she always looked forward to her family's camping trips. Above all, Mina enjoyed being a wife and mother.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, William G., her son, Joseph J., and grandson, Joshua W. Dalehite, all of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Aloes and Louise (nee Traxler) Puchinger, daughter, Donna L. Lamats, in 2001 and her brother, Aloes Puchinger.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday. A Funeral Mass will follow, at 10:30 am, at St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Parish, 2143 Homewood Drive, Lorain. Rev. Fr. John C. Retar, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain
